Every watch has a story. Ours began with a few pieces and a lot of patience.
TWS (Tiempo Watch Store) was born in Mexico City from the hands of Miguel Angel Hidalgo — a watchmaker, parts seeker, and vintage enthusiast from day one.
It all started simply: buying a few watches, repairing them by hand, and bringing back the life that time had taken from them. No big investments. No formulas. Just honest work and an eye for recognizing a piece worth saving.
What we do differently
At TWS, we don't sell watches "as is." Each piece goes through a complete process before reaching your hands:
- Careful search and selection — not just any watch enters the workshop
- Complete movement diagnosis
- Ultrasonic cleaning of internal parts
- Lubrication and precision adjustment
- Crystal, crown, strap, and clasp inspection
- Final functional test
Only when a watch meets our standards does it go on sale.
Why vintage watches?
Because watches from 40, 50, or 60 years ago were built to last. With more robust materials, simpler movements, and an attention to detail that is hard to find today. A well-preserved vintage watch not only works — it tells a story that no new watch can match.
